Virtual Storytime on Facebook and YouTube Tuesdays at 10 AM

Virtual Storytime & Bedtime Storyhour! Watch them on Facebook or our Summer page!

Every Tuesday at 10 AM we'll be sharing storytime fun from our wonderful librarians, Miss Carrie, Miss Sunny, and Miss Kathy. Storytime videos will be available anytime through Facebook and on the library YouTube Channel. The most recent one will also be posted on our Summer page!

Bedtime Storyhour will be the fourth Thursday of the month at 7 PM and can also be found on all three Facebook pages and the library YouTube Channel. The most recent one will also be posted on our Summer page!

Storytime Kits are also available! Each kit will contain supplies and step-by-step instructions that will coincide with the storytime theme for the week. One month's worth of craft kits will be available for pick-up at the beginning of each month. Registration is required and supplies are limited so call your library to reserve yours!

You can find the libraries on Facebook using the links below:

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Initiative is a program that encourages families and caregivers to read 1,000 books with their young children before they enter kindergarten. If you read just one book a day with your child, you’ll reach 1,000 books in less than three years.

Visit the library to sign up and get a welcome book bag, an easy to use booklog and resources to help foster literacy skills. The library hosts a graduation party for those reading 1,000 books!

Storytime

Each library hosts fun, playful storytimes filled with music, movement, play and reading. Check out the events page for details on when a storytime is held in your library!

Board Book Collections

Is your little one more into eating books then reading them? You’re not alone! For those not quite ready for books with paper, we have a whole collection of board books built just for them. If you have trouble finding them in the children’s section, just stop at the desk and a librarian will show you where they are.
