Jan 6, 2020 @ 3:45 pm - 4:45 pm
An event every week that begins at 3:45 pm on Monday, repeating until Feb 10, 2020
Jackson County Library
The Jackson County Library System is starting two new Coding Clubs using Ozobot Evos! This is an amazing opportunity to learn computer science and the basics of coding, all for free! The Jackson Coding Club will meet in the Jackson Library every Monday from 3:45 to 4:45 PM starting on January 6 and running until February 10, except for Monday, January 20. The clubs will be using small robots called Ozobot Evos to learn how to build a computer program and then see it in action as the robots follow their instructions! Activities throughout the five weeks will teach computer science concepts such as loops, conditional logic, variables and more, all through fun games.
The Coding Clubs are open to 4th-8th graders. Club members that sign up are committing to attending all five weeks. There are only ten spots in each club so stop in to the Jackson Library or call 847-4748 to join today! For more information please call the library.
