Join us at the Lakefield and Heron Lake Libraries on Wednesday, March 1st to hear Nick Riordan of the Jackson County Historical Society present on the history of the Non-Partisan Farmer’s League in Jackson County. The Farmer’s league had a presence in Jackson County in the 1910’s and 20’s. Come by to hear about some fascinating history that includes stories about sedition, a parrot and an angry mob!
This monthly adult program is free and will be held on Wednesday, March 1st at the Lakefield Library at 2:00 p.m., and the Heron Lake Library at 5:30 p.m. Registration is not required for this program. Please call your local library for more information. Program plans are subject to change.
